Your Therapist is Not Your Best Friend

    1. Megan MacKay – I work as an addiction and trauma therapist out of Montana. I have had several opportunities to learn from the masters in my field. Credentialed in effective methodologies, and experienced working at one of the top behavioral hospitals in the world, I use these abilities to identify pathologies and educate individuals on those difficulties, resolve trauma, relearn and reframe unhealthy thinking patterns, and to serve as a source of support and education for the community. I support healing and growth for all, learning how to be relational, rather than reactionary. My biggest goal is to end the cycle. This end begins with you. Trained in: Eye movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Certified in: The Meadows Model Post Induction Therapy (PIT) for developmental trauma, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist candidate (CSAT), and Safe and Sound Protocol (Polyvagal Theory).
